The NZB Kiwi - The Southern Hemisphere's richest three-year-old race will come to life in March 2025. NZTR has unveiled an aspirational slot race to take place on Champions Day as a part of the revamped Summer Carnival. New Zealand's top three-year-olds will vie for glory, with the race set to be run over 1500m at Ellerslie Racecourse. Brace yourself for adrenaline-fueled action and ultimate racing extravaganza debuting on 8 March 2025.

Date: Champions Day in March each year, commencing in 2025

Race Distance: 1500m
Conditions: 3YO restricted race, set weights and penalties
Starters: 14
Prizemoney: Base prizemoney of $3.5m in 2025, increasing to $4.5m by 2027. An additional $1m of bonuses will also be available each year.
